Terms of Service
Last updated: May 18, 2026
Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at longislandtilepros.com (the "Site") operated by Long Island Tile Pros ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, or by submitting an estimate request through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Information on the Site
The Site is intended to describe our tile contracting services and to make it easy for property owners on Long Island to request a free estimate. Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep service descriptions, pricing ranges, and timelines accurate, but actual project scope, materials, and pricing are determined only after an on-site evaluation and a written estimate.
Photos, design ideas, and reference images shown on the Site may be illustrative. Where stock photography is used, it is for visual reference only and does not represent a specific project completed by Long Island Tile Pros unless captioned as such.
Estimates are not contracts
Submitting the estimate form on the Site is a request for a free consultation and estimate. It is not a binding contract for work. No work will begin until both parties have signed a written agreement that specifies scope, materials, pricing, payment terms, and timeline.
Any verbal price ranges, ballpark figures, or timelines discussed during an initial phone call or site visit are non-binding estimates and may change based on what is discovered during the project (for example, hidden water damage, subfloor issues, or tile that is no longer available).
Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site.
- Use any automated system, bot, scraper, or similar tool to access the Site for any purpose other than legitimate search-engine indexing.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems.
- Use the Site or our contact channels to send spam, solicitations, or unsolicited marketing.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site content without written permission.
Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, layout, and arrangement, is the property of Long Island Tile Pros and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the Site for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Third-party brand names referenced on the Site (for example, tile manufacturers, waterproofing-membrane brands, or grout brands) are the trademarks of their respective owners. Reference to these brands does not imply endorsement or affiliation unless specifically stated.
Third-party links and services
The Site may link to third-party websites or services, including Google Business Profile and social-media pages. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. The estimate form is processed by Netlify Forms; use of that form is also subject to Netlify's terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long Island Tile Pros disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, with respect to the Site and its content. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Nothing on the Site is professional advice for your specific project. Tile, waterproofing, subfloor, and substrate decisions vary by home and require an in- person evaluation. Always rely on a written estimate and signed agreement, not on general information shown on this website.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Long Island Tile Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
This limitation does not affect any rights or remedies under a signed project contract between you and Long Island Tile Pros for actual work performed. That contract — not these Site Terms — governs the work itself, warranties, and any related dispute.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Long Island Tile Pros, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Service area
Long Island Tile Pros provides tile contracting services primarily in Nassau County and Suffolk County, New York. Inclusion of a town or neighborhood on the Site does not guarantee service availability for every project — final service availability is confirmed when we respond to your estimate request.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County or Suffolk County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
